I think you should buy the lite, because some new things are comeing out only for the lite. Also the lite uses the battery more efficiantly, and you can choose between backlight settings

Get the Lite:i have a regular DS (bougt at walmart) and i can barely see anything on the screens when the sun is shining.And the regular ds is way too big to carry around.Plus get new super mario bros. Metroid is only fun if you can play wifi.greez

You should get lite because it has more light, first of all and second because the buttons are more easy to press than the normal ds. Third if you get the nds lite u get a better kind of stylus.

You should get the light. it can be set to be just as bright, and last longer as the original. It also comes with a larger stylus that is much more comfortable. Especially when playing metroid prime hunters!

haha this comes up a lotThe only difference is that the ds lite looks, in my opinion, a lot nicer. Cash wise, i would pick the regualr over the lite any day

DS Lite. It has a great light, doesn't way as much, is smaller, but the Gameboy Advance games stick out...

If you already had the normal one, I'd say don't buy the lite one. But if you don't, buy the lite one

i dont think in terms of functions there are any difference btw the ds lite and the ds. However ds lite is 1/3 size smaller, and it looks way cooler than the ds. Its like choosing to get a 5gb ipod or a 5gb ipod mini =)

that big ds is so big and bulky, i wish i would have waited for the lite to come out. you think it's gonna be all compact cuz it's a handheld but it's really not.so i would suggest getting the lite, it makes a huge difference.

lite will be the better buy. smaller size, brighter screen, lighter weight. worth the extra $$ and consider that being such a good deal, i will definitely go for the white.
