Final Fantasy X,it was the first game on the system that I played, and the jump in graphics from the N-64 to the Playstation 2 was mind boggling

i have to say beyond a shadow of a daubt that silent hill 2 was the game that made me go wow simply because of the great story line and the great graphics. i recomand anyone that wants to play a game that they will never forget should go out and buy silent hil 2.

Extermination. I dont have to even argue about that. It may be a $3 Game now, (thats because not many heard about it thus sales dropped) but it is totaly awesome, the storyline.. I mean cmon, who doesnt love shooting your best friend with missles after he has been horribly mutated by an expirement that went horribly wrong? This games supsense as well as storyline makes me give it a 10/10.

armored core 3 oh man that game was freeking awesome not only the graphics but the gameplay and customizability oh i wish my friend hadnt sold his ps2 i miss that game so much.

God of War. Well, the latest one on the PS2 that really looked and felt great. The earlier games like Silent Hill 2 still look and react so much like PS1 games that it's obvious that developers still weren't familiar with the software.

Definitely god of wars 2, when I first play it I cant believe this kind of details graphic is possible on PS2. 2nd is Final Fantasy XII was another surprise also, however I didnt finish FFXII yet, just borrow from my friend, but the graphic is awesome, i think squareenix really push PS2 to the limit.

Final Fantasy XII. The graphics were great for the PS2, and the CGI was awesome.

I remember FFX hitting me pretty hard. It was the first game I bought for my ps2. :]Kingdom hearts was very very awesome too!

DQ8. Okami was also pretty amazing the 1st time I caught a glimpse of it. Sure it came out during the end of the PS2's lifespan, but it really displayed how far the limits of the PS2 could be pushed.
