It seems that the least popular Final Fantasies are VIII, X-2, and XI. I can understand X-2 and XI, but VIII was actually one of my favorite. Once you look past the fact that the enemies get stronger with you, it's actually pretty fun.

X-2 was downright terrible, but FVIII wasn't quite that bad. Just the somewhat nonsensical story; that hurts it.

I'd have to say the original FFII. I really hated the whole "use your shield to level up your defence" thing... And also the fact that if you step one block from an area with easy enemies, you get attacked by enemies that kill you in one hit T_T...

any1 heard of Crystal Chronicles that was bad needing a gba to play it on the GC with multiplayers and it pretty much sucked

Fire Emblem was much more on the strategic side than FFTA. In FFTA, you can win a battle with only one character, and also, all you needed was to level up and kick everyone's butt, much like in the PS version.In FE, you must form good strategic moves to pass through the missions, since that you couldn't let no one in your party die. It was very well made. Too bad the game was a little too short.Also played a little Super Robot Taisen, same style as FE, but I can't stand japanese language.The best one? Maybe FE, but I'm a ff fan, and FFTA comes real close.

FF2 is one of the worst games I've ever played. Even X-2 was better than that garbage.

FF12 and 12, i dont even consider them FF games, they're horrible abortions of enix trying to "re vamp" the FF series, WHEN THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT TO BEGIN WITH. In conclusion, i hate enix for buying out square (and yes they did buy them out, they just called it a "merge" for PR perposes) after they were broke due to the final fantasy movie floping.Final fantasy 13 looks sooooooooo hot though, all three of them

FF8 was disapointing they hyped it up because of 7 and then when you played it, it was down right bad. especially in the end squall was just like cloud all dark and depressing untill the very end sequence when he just turned into something else. FFX2 was also quite bad never should have made a sequal there was no reason it was just fine the way it ended in X.

Sorry to FF8 fans but i hate FF8 the Leveling is not very good. i mean if you are at L100 so would a ruby dragon. Your health- 9989 Dragon health- 590000.that is not right.

It has to be Final Fantasy X-2. Horray, girls running around in skimpy outfits and no storyline ... *rolls eyes* If I wanted that, I would have played pretty much anything else! I would also say Final Fantasy IX, but .... 
Well, I may be a little mad about that one because I'm too poor to affoard to buy the game, and the PS2 online stuff, get my PS2 fixed so that it works properly, pay for my character ... and the list goes on.
