I have to agree with all the others that said FF X-2. It was only SE's way to milk more money out of the franchise.

Final fantasy 2 was the worst in my opinion( The one with Cecil) It was poorly made and was far two easy.

Only played VIII and a bit of IX and X, I really liked them all so this is a difficult question. But of the games I played I'd say I loved IX the least. But I really think their are FF games I haven't played yet that are worser.

For me, it has to be either FFIX or FFX-2. I didn't like nine much probably because of the characters so much. For X-2, probably for the completion percentage which greatly annoys me. It's easy to go through the game, but difficult to get 100%.

FFX2 by far. I also don't see what the hype for FF7 is. i didn't find it that great.

With me, its a tie between 8, X, and X-2. I didn't like any of them. I can't place it on any one thing for any of them, I just didn't like them at all.

HEY i love fnal fantasy 10 and the turn based systems are way better than figuring out ur move and dyin bedore u can. I don't know if this is just because i tried on a ps2 but the graphics in ff7 looked horrible.Also IMO the worst one was X. Mostly because I absolutely HATE turn based battle systems. And oh ya can any one say SphereGrid??

well FF11 is a very bad let down all cause of it being online and 10-2 also cause their isnt anymore characters u could use but it isnt so bad

Fianl Fantasy 7Yeah, I said it. Just considering the FF series, not any of the Tactics/Mystic Quests and all that other garbage FF7 is the worst. I can go back and play any FF and enjoy it except FF7. It was okay when it first came out but is horrible today.

I concur, for the most part. I didn't even like it when it first came out. I still don't like it. I personally don't think it's got anything going for it. =\All the characters are shallow, the graphics are pretty shoddy, numerous translation/grammar/spelling errors, a poor story line, and an over-powering materia system.
