2 for me. The first was from 2001-2004, but then was destroyed while transporting it to a friend.

We almost had to replace our first one. Problem- The start button stopped working. My dad took it apart and put it back together. It works still ^.^Theyre pretty durable. It's been dropped, hit, moved, yanked out of the t.v stand,(yes someone in our house has anger issues, and its NOT me) and it still works. The only thing is, is that when it opens it makes a funny sound. The trey sounds like it vibrates or something when it opens.

I have heard that a lot of people go through a good amount of PS2s because they "break easily" I've had mine for about a year and a half and mine is ok, but how many PS2's have you gone through?

Well I have two, one japanese and one us, both have been working fine. Then again I don't move them too much and I keep them clean.

Im still using my first, which i bought the year it came out. The only problem they have is that they clog up dust and other crap very easy, but if you clean it out theres no reason it should break short of you dropping it from a height

I went through only 1. It broke and I don't know why. I think its cause I left a stereo speaker on top of it and left it on carpet causing it to overheat. Or maybe it was because it was over 3 years old. Or maybe it was both...

This is my third one... The first one I spilled milk and cookies on and the only game it would play was FF10. The second one I tripped and fell on the disc-holding part and it wouldnt go back in. My third one works fine and I hope I dont break it.

Ive gone through 3 because the shelf it was one was too small for it so if you tripped on a controller cord, it brought the whole system down.
