Q: Who did Zeus favor during the Trojan War? (1 pt)I thought Zeus favored the Trojans. I don't recall anyone specific...

Zeus favored the Trojans because Themis asked him to; Achilles asked his mother Themis to ask Zeus.

Both are wrong .... and rightZeus was said to be neutral and not interfere with "man's fate" as said by the other gods.... but he did favor the Trojans (pretty obvious if you see what he actually does in the Iliad)That was a mouthful... lol@kirby: It's Thetis, not Themis. That was actually a tricky question. So I split the ten points evenly between you two.Scoreboardtedsb16: 7kirbyfreak73 : 5evilpseudoalex: 5Sykor: 2AliasBot:1Q: Pyramus and Thisbe were star-crossed ________(1pts)

The word "lovers" comes to mind immediately. Even without the myth, the phrase gives it away.

Lol, also, double post btw. Anyway, in mythology, I think they were started by Hercules after he finished his famous Labors. In real life, they started out in Greece as one in a set of "games" held between different city-states.

I am not sure, but if I remember correctly, the death of Hector was determined by the weight that Zeus use. However, Achilles' mother did have a prophecy that Achilles would die after the fight with Hector. That is if I remembered it correctly.

Hector predicted his own death before coming out to face Achilles. He also predicted Achilles's death as he takes his dying breath after Achilles mortally wounds him.

Q5: Bellerophon tamed the Pegasus. He had help from Athena who gave him a magic bridle.Q4: didn't get 5. answered what i could.-In Chinese dragons are a symbolic of potent and auspicious powers, particularly control over water, rainfall, hurricane, and floods. they are also symbols ofpower, strength, and good luck. Norse dragons on the other hand are negative symbols and evil bringers of destruction.-Chinese dragons are typically portrayed as long, scaled, serpentine creatures with four legs. However in Norse mythology there's no distinction between dragons per se and serpents. A serpent was simply a dragon without wings.-Chinese dragons were mythical creatures symbolic with the Emperors. Norse dragons are usually humans that turned into these creatures because their own greed and sins have led to their transformation. they are monstrous serpents, sometimes with wings and legs, but more often as gigantic snake-like creatures than traditional dragons.Edit: i think question 1 took so long because of the wording of the question :santa:

In Chinese myth I believe that Dragons are typically river gods whereas Dragons reside in the mountains.Chinese dragons are also benevolent and helpful while Norse dragons are greedy and evilI believe that should answer the final 2 parts of q4 after the hint but I can't claim credit for other people's work on the other parts of the answer.
