I was really expecting this game to be a turn around for Sega. You know being able to scrap all the crappy side character that they've built up over the years and have Sonic as the only playable beside maybe Knuckles, and Tales. Rather than doing this though they decided to introduce one of the cheesiest characters in the Sonic universe, and continue the crappy Shadow thing. Shadow only deserved to be in one Sonic game he should've kept his honor and stayed dead, but now he even got his own damn game.

It looks pretty coolWhen people claim "Sonic sucks now cause of all the side-characters" they have no idea what there talking about...DON'T listen too them!!!!The side characters are what keeps the story going, The only bad one ive seen so far is shadow(even though his game was pretty cool)And yes Sonic, TAILS, and knuckles should be playable instead of Shadow and Silver.

I like Tails and Knuckles...:-PWe all know how much potential Sonic games have. There have been some drawbacks (Sonic Heroes in particular), but I think that this new one can redeem the Sonic name.

I think the new 360 and PS3 Sonic doesn't really look that good. I mean graphics and gameplay wise. And there really are too many side characters... the Chaotix crew, Rogue, Shadow, Silver, Tikal, Big the Cat...The only one's that should be in the next game are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and MAYBE Amy. And the only playable one should be Sonic.Personally I'm looking forward to Sonic Wild Fire.

Sonic games are always awesome, but really, a hedgehog with guns? (Shadow) How lame can you get. Shadow does not need guns. He is almost as powerful as Sonic. What we need is a game with Metal Sonic as the lead character.

Yeah me too, Sonic Wild Fire looks great in gameplay I've seen.They need to stop messing up Sonic games with friendship and make it cool again like the original.It doesn't need a storyline, just levels, chaos emeralds and a blue hedgehog will do. Are the new Sonic games any good? I haven't played any Sonic games since Sonic Pinball on Sega CD, apart from that, I've played Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Sonic & Knuckles. I haven't played the others, are they that good. I can't imagine a 3d sonic game...

im looking forwards to this game, and it seems that shadow does not us guns (apart from in the truch in this game) so maybe this game may help him get slightly better in this game than in his previous outines. but i am looking forward to silver game play, why? because its something different, i dont want to see speed all of the time, i want something new and original. the plot also seems good. (altho you can see where they got their ideas from, silver coming from the future: sonic cd, the ibis: perfect chaos, town levels: sonic adventure: DX, people: sonic adventure series)

Sonic isn't good unless it's pure speed, none of this exploring crap that SA has put on us. Once that happens, Sonic is all good. Rush is a right step in that direction

Sonic wildfire looks like the pure speed style we see with rush and the older titles, but hopefully in 3D [Finally!!]. Sonic Heroes did give some new ideas a very pleasureable testdrive.

I don't see how most of you love shadow he's hardcore i love sonic to he's the bomb !!!!!!!!!! damn if they come out with a game where its 2 players were you can play toegether on teams sonic and shadow

...am I the only one here that enjoyed raising the Chao? Besides them, I liked SA,SA2:Battle. Sonic Heroes killed 3D sonic games to me though. My favorite would have to be Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles, though. That kicked a lot of donkey.

Graphics are some of the best I've seen, and Sonic Adventure 2 was really really fun. Looks awesome.And i bet it wont look better on PS3...all Sony's done is lie about the system's potential.

i am a sonic fan and the new sonic game(still to come has cool graphics i just love them) it brings me the memory of my childhood when i used to play sonic the hedge hok well i am waitning for its release
