for me it was fun... i mean in a "living my life in games instead of real life" sort of way,and now as i grow older i feel like animal crossing no longer has a purpose....ya like anyone will know what that means... :shiftyninja: all alone...

I was addicted to animal crossing for a really long time. Now I can't even look at it. It's horribly repetative and it's like a game about chores. And I don't care about collecting fish/bugs for no reason whatsoever.

I payed off all my loan, and my frd kinda sold all his games for gamecube so all he has is the console, controller, and memory card, so he lent the memory card to me, and i made a new town and kept deleting it, trying to get all the different kinds of fruits. But then in one day when I had both memory cards with town data inserted in my 2 slots something terrible happened. In ONE DAY 7 people moved out of my town, and when I checked slot b's town data...THERE THEY WERE! I got so mad, but I just took out the other memory card, and they stopped moving.

I only play it so I can have a model set in the basement and have a NES gaming area.If you ask, It would take me 3 hours to finish.

I've been playing for a little over a month now. I have my house maxed out (Thanks to universal codes), but I try to keep my furniture collecting away from codes. Now I just focus on completing the museum. I've collected all of the fossils and most of the paintings. I've donated all bugs and fish that are in season, which is about half of them, and I still like to check the store for furniture I like. Right now I have the Gold Screen for a wallpaper and some weird carpet as a floor. I use paintings I've found for decoration as well as most art pieces I find. I also keep a computer in the room. That's the main floor, though. The second floor I set up the lovely theme. Nothing much to it. The basement is line with clothing because I like to switch every day. I also place all of my gyroids down there. It's generally a hole of chaos.I've lent out the other three houses to my friends. They don't play too often, so I usually have to sweep their houses for cockroaches and what-not. I don't mind, though. Come time for an event, I have three extra chances to get what I want.

It's fun as hell for me. I got everything, my score in the HRA is 215,000, and I got all the NES games, including Super Mario Bros. LONG LIVE ACTION REPLAY!

I still play Animal Crossing occasionally. It's fun, but I suppose it can get boring for those who don't like 'repetitive' games.

It's okay at first, but got boring after a few weeks of playing it. I should have buy harvest moon instead of animal crossing. I think it's more fun if u combine your town with someone else.

I have a house on my cousin's memory card right next to his house. Neither of us have gone on it in about 2 years now. I can only imagine what my neighbors must be saying about me. It did get boring after a while though, that's why we stopped.

Tried it out but got bored pretty fast...I wasn't a big fan of having a game telling me to check in on it on a dialy basis. At the point the game is basically playing you.

Animal Crossing is fun for a while. Then you find you have better things to do... and you don't go back to it unless you're really bored.

I was so addicted to Animal Crossing for the first few months, then it became really slow and boring. I haven't played it in forever.I can't imagine the amount of weeds I have right now. Poor townspeople.

I concur, i was having great fun on it.. then my sister got the gold trophy for me. Then when i made a new town i took all my fuirniture with me and... it wasnt fun (i later figured out the fun is getting all the stuff for ure house, but its not fun to do it when you know u can get the stuff easy from another acount, wow thats a long side note)
