the girls who i have seen play video games play role playing games such as Fire Emblem and Nintendogs. Essentially the ones i know play games without too much need for hand eye coordination

many girls play mmorpgs such as maplestory,runescape, etc so i would just say thatand also, MANY MANY girls play games like ddr and karioke revolution and other games that involve dancing/singing.

well, considering that I am a girl, quite a few. Most of what I play are RPGs, but I like other types of games as well. Like Metal Gear Solid! I would play FPSs, but I don't own the right console for the better games of that genre. I like puzzle games, and simulation/odd/quirky games too. I like to play all sorts of things!And really, saying that girls don't play video games is pretty lame. We play all sorts of games, and some of us play them just as often as you boys do. And some of us are better than the guys! <gasp> oooh, scandalous. (<probably mispelles ^.^)I think the genders are closer to being equal now when it comes to video games.

...This sounds very...sexist (personal opinion)I personally play all types of games. Loves RPGs (lots of girls does), the sims, violent/fighting games 9like Diablo, the godfater, mafia etc), strategic games (FF tactics), MMORPG (like DUH).I wanted to try counterstrike but didn't (only GUNZ)And racing games are fun...in arcades. Real hands-on.

I know for a fact that a female friend of mine has beaten God of War and loved it. I know this because she borrowed it from me. ^_^My mom also likes RPGs, when she gets a chance to play them. And my aunt does too, and she also likes the Spyro games on the original Playstation.

The only time I saw a girl actually playing a game was a girl on her cell phone at school.But once I saw a few girls in Gamestop, and they were trying to pick out a game that "girls could play" for the DS. I think eventually they ended up getting Cooking Mama or Nintendogs.

sexest a bit (not refering to the person who posted since it is infact a chick, but the responses from guys). but im a girl and i play plenty of games. pokemon, duck hunt, tetris, mario, double dragon, river city ransom, super puzzle fighter II turbo. ive never touched sims, but i do own nintendogs, animal crossing and cooking momma. but i also own every nintendo system and a whole bunch of different types of games. you dont have to be a guy to be a gamer.
