When my cousin (of course, female) used to like playing video games, we would go to the arcade and she would like to play any game from Metal Slug to King of Fighters.

Am I the only one who finds this a little offensive? As if seeing a girl play a game is so rare that you can pinpoint it down to the very genre. I'm a girl and I've been gaming since I was like, 5. I've played every single type of game and PWN'd all the boys. From racing games to wrestling games to first person shooters to Mario. My best friend is the same way and so is a lot of our mutual friends.

^i agree. this topic sounds like girls NEVER play games. or that it's something CRAZY to see.i've seen girls play every game that any guy would play. but around me, girls seem to havea liking for DDR, more than anything.
