Uh, I've seen girls play pretty much everything. I guess I'm just too old to really concern myself with what girls play.

I'm a girl, and I've played everything from the old games like Duke Nukem, Major Stryker, and Bahamut Lagoon to the middle-aged games like Super Smash Bros., F-Zero, and FFVII to the newer games like God of War, Soul Calibur 2, and Gran Turismo 3. And that's only a tiny selection of the dozens of games I've played. I play/have played games for the PC, SNES, N64 (though mine, regretfully, doesn't work), all the incarnations of the Gameboy, PSX, and PS2. I'd have a 360 and a Gamecube, too, if I had the money. Face it, there's nothing strange or unusual about girls playing video games.Where's the "All of the above" option?

Ive actually seen a Girl play Halo 3, Devil May Cry, Silent hill, Resident Evil. Alot of Horror and shooting games. And she is a goody goody in school too

Uhm... I've seen a girl play every one of those game genres. 
I guess RPGs are the most common ones though. And Sims.

Pretty much everything. Most of my gaming friends are adult females who grew up with a Nintendo, a PC, or a Genesis.

i have a cosin that plays every game imanigable and she is really good at iti swear, my friend plays counter strike more than me

I know many girls who like Mario and Spyro games. Wii games like Wii Sports, Wii Play, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and some Nintendo DS games like Mario Kart, Nintendogs and Animal Crossing are very popular for the girls i know.

Me and my girlfriend sit around about once a week and play halo 3 together with my friend and his girl friend. both my girlfriend and my friends both have gamertags and they play a variety of games from console to pc.
