I've seen girls that play lots of games. Shooters (Counter-strike), Sims, Mario, Tetris etc. And they have defeated me in 'em (I confess! ;) ).

I'm a girl studying for a bachelor's in media science and arts. Basically getting ready for an entry level job in game design.So basically everything. But I won't touch simulation, sports, or MMOs. Or Guitar Hero/Rock Band.I don't know why this is such a big deal, a girl playing games. It's not so uncommon now as it was 20 years ago when video games were first invented.

I am a girl, basically I play whatever games I find interesting. Usually its action, adventure, role play, etc... This topic is kind of odd. I don't know why people think its strange if a girl plays video games.

we have a few girls at my chuch that can kick my butt at halo. not to mention some of them are pretty good at Guitar Hero. its not weird to see a girl play games its weird to see a hot girl play games.

I've seen a girl playing Mario Kart DS. Then again, I've seen 8 guys at a table playing Mario Kart DS together, so I shouldn't be surprised. It's like a disease at our school.

I am girl.I play a vast variety.My favorite game is Earthbound- I like Grand Theft Auto, Dead or Alive, classic NES stuff... Guitar Hero.. I've been playing Kirby, Guitar Hero, Pheonix Wright, and Kingdom Hearts 2 lately...Why is this a big deal? I mean, it's really useful to me- Like, if I date a guy that's a gamer, we borrow each others games. Play Soul Calibur against each other. (I've done this on a few dates, hah)It's great bonding

My mom's enthusiasm for the SNES is what got me into gaming, and she stuck mostly to SMW/All-Stars. I had an old friend who was more into Sonic games, but outside of that, girl gamers are pretty rare where I am.

When i was in college, the girls used to play call of duty and Trackmania nations with us. They suckeddddd bad as trackmania but they got pretty good at CoD! worrying stuff.
