My girlfriend bought it, and it works rather well. It serves its purpose. I can check my gmail from my couch if I want. If I wanted to watch videos or use flash applications, I think I'd just walk over to my computer and do it there. Its loading time is only slow when there are many images to be loaded, but other than that, it's much faster than browsing on dial-up.

I bought it and it works, though it takes foreeeeeeeeeevvvvveeeerrrrr to load, even with the extra ram. though that might be because the servers I was using are in Japan and I'm in New England. but it works. and the keyboard using the touch screen is nice, I'm not sure how the browser works on the PSP. I got it to run on my supercard but it doesn't do anything.

Crimson Twilight,Do you mean you were actually able to surf using the rom on the supercard or did you get the shut down message like everyone else?

I never wanted to try it because I already had a handheld browser with the DS, and from what I've heard from other people the PSP browser is better, because for 1 it is built in, and 2 it is faster.

As of now there is only a Japanese version and a European vesion. Yes it can go on the internet but only through a Wi-fi connection. As for the cost the European version is 25 Euros, and the Japanese version is 3800 yen.Hoped this helped you, and just to let you know, we don't know yet if they browser will be coming to America.

I have a question about the browser, cause today reading the description printed on the box, I read that it needs a DS Lite to work. Is it possible that with a simple DS it doesn't works?

Is the browser, like the games, region free? If so I might have to look into a Euro browser...

There are two versions, one for the normal DS and one for the lite. The difference is the physical size of the expansion pack. The one for the lite is designed to fit flush with the system. Software wise the two versions are exactly the same.

The non-lite will work on the Lite, but will stick out. the lite wont work on the non-lite because it can't reach. Btw, the GBA cartridge that comes with it is only extra RAM. So, it would work without it, just really badly.

This is why I've always like the built-in feature to the PSP better than the DS cart because it runs a lot faster and you don't even need a UMD to run it.

yea but u end up having to pay for that PSP broswer to begin with whether u use it or not, with DS u can choose to spend that extra money depending on if u will use it. i dont need one so i wont be getting.and yes its region free like the games

xpsaiyan04- I bet you're right. I have doubts that the DS browser supports flash, as the PSP's doesn't either... such a shameBut I like the system's browsers even if it is a pain to type with. PSP and DS start up and shut down faster than the computer, so it's a nice little convenience when you gotta go to GameFAQs because you just don't know that last boss' weakness XD

Yeah I remember there was an update for flash, but you have to go into the PSP settings and enable it first.
