Thanks for that - not too fussed in too much of homebrew stufff TBH so will probably invest in the official set.Lucky here where I live in the UK I guess (Brighton) - free wireless is pretty common. They have it in probably 50% of pubs in town plus blanket free coverage the length of the beach, soon to rolled out to covefr the whole city - hence the browser would be a handy addition for me.I just chalk it up as an unavoidable consequence of the download point system. The RAM expansion is currently not sold separately. You must either buy the official browser pack, or have the slot-1 & slot-2 w/ram combo. The slot-2 device must have at least 10MB of RAM, or Opera will crash during use.The cheapest solution is likely to buy the official pack. Currently there are European, Japanese and Australian versions available. A US release is slated for June. The European version contains the usual five languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian and German. Before anyone asks: The US actually has terrible internet and wireless coverage compared to most developed countries, which is why it was such a low priority for a DS browser even though the country is usually Nintendo's 2nd stop for new stuff. However if the idea of playing GBA games or running homebrew that can take advantage of RAM (eg: DSLinux) appeals to you, it may be worth it to invest in an M3 or Supercard ram-based slot-2 device.

Where would you keep it? The DS has no storage space, and the browser requires a RAM expansion pack to work anyway. No, everything you need will be sold in stores like any DS game. Will this be free to download for existing DS owners?

You can buy the Expansion Pak directly from the Nintendo.com store ($15 on the Canadian side). You can also get the DS-Phat version there.does anyone know if u can buy the ram pack seperate from the opera browser? and also. is there perhaps a way to patch the opera browser to let u save files direct onto your transflash [if your using a M3 or R4] eg. ?
