That was a fantastic game, but it was just so hard! Even cheating with infinite lives I couldn't get through more than a few stages! But damn was it beautiful, and the acquisition and use of weapons was awesome!

One of my favorite shooters. Haven't played many, but I'm really into that, Ikaruga, and Gradius V. The weapon and ship selection is fun, and I like the third level boss theme "Bloody Battle".

My single favorite ps1 game. Amazing shooter. Particularly the secon dlevel, where you go through the desert wasteland. Really fun.

I remember Einander, but like a lot of people I only played the demo, but man did i play the heck outa that demo! it seemed like a great game....very challenging. I also liked the sound and lighting effects, the different weapons, enemies, ships, and that boss at the end was huge! .....and that was just the first level!I wouldn't mind owning the game, Squarsoft makes some great games.

There is no worse enemy. His passion for
death doesn't just border on insanity, it
wallows in it.

Been a while since I last played this. I think my brother still has the game save in one of the old memory cards somewhere. What I like most about this game is collecting the weapons. I'd start a new game equipped with the most powerful weapons and obliterate every single thing that flies my way.

I have never played it! I want to so badly since I heard a lot of great things about it, but the only time I got my hands on it was when I needed a modded PS but I didn't. It looks fun though, I only regret never trying harder to play it.

For me , it is the best shoot-em-up on Playstation. The 3d is very impressive and the boss enormous. Squaresoft had made a very good game.

To answer TAM. Einhander is squaresoft's entry into the shooter gender. Unlike other shooter though, enihander boasts in it's 3 dimensional environment which emerges the player deep into the game and will feel like playing a 3-d flight simulation game. The game mechanics in this shooter is what fans love about the game. Your einhander has a standard gun which never runs out and the various weapons which you collect all over the game. You choose which einhander type you will use. There are three of them and each are for different player's preference. The einhander mk-1 carries two weapons (machineguns, cannons, spreader) which can be used simultaniously, preferred by players who wants more fire power at the same time. The einhander mk-2 carres three weapons, this einhander can only fire the selected weapon and the standard gun at the same time, this is preferred by players who wants to save the heavy firepower to boss battles. And finally the einhander mk-3 which only carries one weapon but can fire a double standard gun, preferred by players who doesn't rely on weapons. I really can't tell you how enjoyable this game is in detail, but I assure you that no other shooter has ever rivaled this one back in the PS1 era.

I got it in a demo disc too. I would play it about 3 or 4 times a day just to see the graphics, and I always wished I could find it in a store somewhere, but I never saw it...I saw a download for the ISO a while ago, but it had been taken down because it was protected by some company or something.
