The original Police Quest series where great, with #2 being my favorite. I also enjoyed Maniac Mansion, and Earl Weaver Baseball. Loved those games when I was a kid.

I had forgotten all about legacy of the ancients. I got stuck on the big castle on the island. Had more money than I knew what to do with, and could slaughter pretty much everything. I got angry with the game and quit playing it.

Blades of Exile is one of the best games I have played. Its pretty ancient, and the graphics aren't that great, but the playability is astounding. Create a party of six adventurers and run them through three pre created scenarios included with the game. If you finish them, hundreds more player created scenarios are available. Its recently become released as open source, so its free for anyone now.

my favorite oldschool game would be torment cuz you got all the NPCs to follow you and withe the tome of cheats you could run through the game in one night with an army of flying heads..and if you've never played it I'd suggest it because its a long game but if u dont like all the text conversations then I'd suggest something more fast paced.

Fallout 1 & 2 , Starcraft , and the original warcrafts(not WOW because I think that game takes away from the whole sittin at ur tv playin a game to waste time untill ur friends show up...no! now you just sit there and talk to ur friends cuz they're on there too!<-thats adding to the obesity of the world! )oops! sorry I didnt notice I'd already posted on here.....and I even forgot about torment...that game rules!
