Any of the Zelda games. I think it's mostly the recurring music that makes me feel that way.

Super Mario Brothers 3 does it for me. One of my absolute favorite games, I usually play a full game twice a year. After that, Probably Final Fantasy VI.

Contra and Islander. Also there was one game that I don't know the title. It was a game whre you could chose one of 3 heroes (one of them was a bloke from the future who could teleport himself) and went out on a quest. The only thing I remember about this was that You could heal by killing deers but if you kill to many of them in a row you die as God shows his wrath. The first quest was to help a wounded deer and that started the whole storyline as the deer started to talk... PLEASE HELP ME!

Metal Gear Solid - PS1 - first game to make me actually feel sorry for the bosses I killed. Plus, all around my favourite game for plot yet.Civilization 2 - PC - Many days and nights spent building cities, armies, and basically just wasting an entire summer on one game.Diablo 2 - PC - Same reasons as Civ2, no other game has sucked my life away quite like those two.Kirby's Dreamland - GB - One of my favourite games ever. I'd sometimes get bored many years later and just whiz through the entire game in 20 minutes. It was such a great game that was easy to relive in a timely fashion. Plus Kirby just rocks.

For me it's Super Mario Bros./ Duck Hunt. I've been playing that game since I was two years old back in good old 1986Everytime I play that game it's like I never grew up. Wait, I still haven't grown up. At least not mentaly. But still, even now I still remember where every warp and where every penney heaven is. And don't forget that to get fireworks you have to get a 1 a 3 or a 6 as the last digit of your timer. Man that's sad I can remember that.I agree with cinnamonbob. Diablo 2 sucked up a huge portion of my adolesence. I was so addicted to that game that if I had tried to quit cold turkey I probably would have gone into a shock induced coma.

Super Mario Bros 3 and Pokemon Red. Pokemon Red ultimately launched me into the world of games (up until then I sucked for lack of reflexes). As for Super Mario Bros 3, I spent 3 or 4 years not being able to get through the first world, then all of a sudden I'm kicking names and taking donkey. Or something like that.

I start feeling a bit nostalgic when playing Gyromite (With R.O.B. for those who remember the first Nintendo systems to be released =). Brings back some good memories.

Loved Duck Hunt.I actually tried to reinstall Diablo 2 a couple months back, but it wouldn't run correctly for some reason. Probably a good thing, really. I haven't tried to figure out what's wrong because I know if I get it working right, I might start calling out of work and not sleeping again.

For me it would have to be Gunstar Heroes on the Mega drive/genesis.I can remember sitting infront of my TV for hours on end when we first got our mega drive just playing it over and over, everytime i had to pop out or sop playin for food i would pause the game and just turn off the screen of the TV so as not to lose my progress. Then a few weeks ago i bought the game again .. and no suprise NOTHING has changed, i can still sit and play it for HOURS without even realising ive been sat there that long .. its great !!
