The Metal Gear series is so great that it shouldn't even be compared to Splinter Cell, not that I don't like SC, but it's just not on the same playing field as Metal Gear. The storyline is so immense and amazing that just that aspect of the game puts it ahead of many others.

I think Metal Gear went a little overboard of the cinematics. Solid Snake is the best video game character though. Hands down.

i prefer more action oriented titles, so its metal gear for mehowever, splinter cell is definitely a breath of fresh air....the visuals and the realism are very enticing

mgs is the best games in its class..although splinter cell is not that bad of a game

you should have made a poll, but o well.i think splinter sell is better because it is more of a spy game and it not much of a survival game like eating wild animals.. and i also like the high tech gadgets

Metal gear solid and splinter cell really makes me bore. I think the best stealth action is hitman blood money

Lol? Wtf? They didnt't ask you about hitman blood money....they asked Which 1 do you like? They didn't give you a third option....>.>But Id have to agree with you anyways! :D those 2 games do kinda bore me :D

I have all the splinter cells and no metal gears. I try to play metal gears once but couldn't understand the controls and lost interest

While Splinter Cell was decent, I feel that Metal Gear topped it with an overall better game. I enjoyed playing Metal Gears more than Splinter Cells, even though I cant deny the greatness of either game
