Splinter cell or metal gear

My vote would have to go to Splinter Cell. Definitely an awesome stealth game, and very fun online. MGS is good, but I'm not really tolerant when it come to the cheesiness in japanese games.I think that MGS's biggest failing point is the story. It has good gameplay, but the developers are trying to make the story so deep and complicated that eventually it seems like they just start to get desperate with trying to make the story epic. Splinter Cell doesn't have much of a story, but the story it has is solid. Splinter Cell also has pretty sweet gameplay.
