Awww. Now gamers don't have any big events to look forward to. But I never would have gone to one, so it's not a big let down for me.

Even though I've never been to E3, it's still nice to know that it's the place we get all of our latest news on games and stuff. I hope the gaming companies at least do their individual shows though to inform us of what's been going on lately in the gaming department.

ya know, that bites. E3 was great, and a great resource for any serious gamer. i doubt the individual shows will create as much hype for each system manufacturer. oh well..

It's sad that it's going, but I suppose something will take it's place. Smaller they may be, but then I might actually have the chance to go.

you just complain because the E3 is closed but there are others expositions of games like the Tokyo game show and if are the games what are you intersted you can always search google or yahoo or get info at the official pages so E3 wasn't so big and necesary that was when it was createdEverybody and everything has an end

Since E3 is no longer being done i think the biggest game convention in North America is now PAX I went last year and they had a pretty big expo room lets see Nintendo as well as Ubisoft, and NC Soft were just a few of the people that were there and it is supposed to be 3 times bigger this year than it was last year and if I remember right there were 9,000 people there last year.

I kind of agree with the game companies for not wanting to do it anymore. But, as most of you know E3 was one of the biggest media showcases of the year. I learned about a lot of upcoming games everytime PC Gamer puts out it's E3 report. The only thing I see to come is more publisher based conventions like BlizzCon.
