As formerly mentioned by others, it's pretty easy. The stratergy I used to win most of my blitz games was to was it off to one of the wingmen on the far sides of the tank, use them to distract the opposing team, then right before the other team got them, id pass it off to the closest person to the goal, preferably tidus, then jecht shot the remaing defenders. Lather rinse repeat, then basically keep the opposing team busy, the the trophy is yours. You get a trophy for your troubles as a key item 
. If you werent able to get jecht shot, which makes life cake, sphere shot is still good, you just have to make sure you're a little further out than you would be for the jecht shot.After that, easy as pie

yes its very possible, u shud focus to win coz if u do u seet a cut scene of wakka holding this massive trophy lol and i think u get a strentgh sphere

Btw it takes alot of luck :laugh:npcs can be the death of youmsinly because of the entire luca team swarming tidusmake sure hes backed up

It's very possible to win. You get the trophy, obviously, and a strength sphere, but you ALSO get the ability to sign Wakka as a Blitzball player later on, if you lose, you don't. It's not very hard at all, especially if you get Jecht Shot 1 on the ship on the way over. Save before the scene where you're trying to pull it off in the front of the ship. In the game, all you have to do it pass it to Tidus when he's close to the goal...He'll score, as he takes out 2 defenders with Jecht Shot. I don't think you're able to use it until the 2nd half though. I'm pretty sure by the time I got all Wakka's reels, Tidus was able to score from 3/4 court with this shot.To get Wakka: When you are on the machina airship after Cid destroys Home, go to Wakka and press the square button as if you were trying to sign anyone else, you'll be able to sign him for 1 gil a game. Rin's available here too, in one of the main hallways.

Jecht shot made it ridiculously easy for me, just gotta go around the path that doesnt put the whole team on you, then it is practically a guaranteed score.

of course it is if you get the jchet shot from the boat you Rape 2 guys and then get +20 to w/e your regular shooting is .. you just kinda win peroid

Yea, its easy just use Jet Shot Btw you get Jet Shot when you show it off on the boat if you make it you learn Jet Shot which is PWNAGE!!

yes it is =) u get str sphere if u win =) i use the trick whit defenders that have ball i go my way to oppenents goal then the attackers and middle player will folo me i throw to attacker and do goal =)
