Well, aside from the knowledge you'll only learn over the years, it depends on how much of an adult you are. I won't bother bringing Air to someone who talks in the 133t/Msn language, even though the ages of those people can vary from 13 till 33. Yet I'll happily show it to someone who is, for example, reasonable and wise, even though they're 14.So, no, age doesn't have to matter. But it's a very good guideline.

Well if the anime isn't like violence or perveted it will be safe for anyone to watch.

Definitely yes. Certain anime is directed to certain age groups. I would never dare to show Evangelion to a child nor would I torture an adult with Pokemon. Of course, some anime appeals to all age groups but those are rare though popular if they pull it off. It's like books. You'd give Dr. Seuss to a kid and Hemingway to an adult but Harry Potter (which I just realized comes out in like 10 minutes) appeals to all generations (okay, perhaps more children than adults but many adults still like it...)

It does for me. It depends on it's contents, especially on ecchi.

i think if the anime is not lyke overly perverted , satanic, or anything weird any1 can watch. For the animes its the same rating system as movies, G for young, PG for sumthing, P-13 blah blah blahSo age dosnt matter unless u step into hentai

I agree. My Grand Father Used To watch Lupin The 3rd And dragon Ball Z No one finds that wrong.?

I think age does matter in how people experience anime and make an opinion out of that. I mean I think most of the say 70+ people don't like anime as much as say most of the 15-20 year olds do. Because the 70+ didn't grew up with it and don't have much friends who also watch anime and are old so less adaptable (or whatever word I must use their, my english is not so good). But that is about how people experience anime. I would say most anime can easily be watched by different age groups and I don't think adult people who watch anime are childish, if they like it just be happy for them

It depends. I can't actually approve minor ages watching the bloody "someone/a lot of people dies every episode" or old people watching something like... kid animes?

does age matter or not eh?i would say yes. example:-get a kid (say 6 years old) to watch Inuyasha-get a teen (say 16 years old) to watch Dragonboosterwould it be compatible?the 6 year old wouldnt get a think that was going on and the 16 year old would be pratiacally bored to death. So i would say yes, age does matter

i totally agree :X that would be total torture

I agree because some anime influences small children to do what they saw on tv.

I think it does matter. I mean, 7-years old children won't want to watch all the animes that are full of blood...

Yeah, shouldn't let those 10 years old watch anime like elfen lied. There's no "too old" for anime though, I'll still watch it even if I'm 100
