It's not a matter of specs, if you like RPG then go right ahead and buy GW, if you enough money to afford for the next year or so grab World of Worldcraft. If neither, then specify your favorite genre and we'll try help you out.

if you've got a good graphics card i'd recommend oblivion and far cry. WOW isn't bad either if you feel like paying monthly...i think age of empires 3 is pretty good too if you like strategy, but i'm not sure. i haven't played it yet.oh yeah and san andreas was really good, so was the KOTOR series.

Well in my own opinion, i feel that what games you should buy ultimately depends on your liking. Just because other people say a certain game is nice and recommends it to you does not mean you should buy the game, because you might not turn out liking it or it might turn out to be a waste of money.I recommend that if possible, you actually borrow games from your friends to play for a while or go to their house and play it with them. If you find that you like it, you can go ahead and purchase the game.It would actually be more helpful if you could write down the types of games you like to play. Also give the specifications of your computer so we know what kind of games your computer can handle. From there, we can give you an adequate reply.

I've only seen one person say Oblivion. It's a great game. Unfortunately, it is the king of demanding games... *looks at guild war's minimum requirement of 800MHz* who's ever heard of 2GHz as the minimum requirement processor for a game... my friend suggested they should have a multiplayer patch or something, but then I was like "Oblivion as an MMO!? All those extra people to load... I don't think any PC could support it"
