I think that Star Ocean: Till the end of time is a lot better then FF though i havent played the new one (12) I still like Star Ocean, even though its hard to get everyone you want on 1 team without manipulateing the game.

Kingdom Hearts is right up there with FF, whether it is better is enitirely based on what you think of it. Me personally, I belive it is better than a few of the Final Fantasy games, but others, such as FF 7 and 8 are better than Kingdom hearts.

Xbox fanboys would tell you that Fable is better than final fantasyNintendo gamers would go for zelda. and so on....but if you would ask me I think think they're all good rpg'sit all depends on how a gamer appreciate it.if there is one RPGame that would top final fantasy on my list that game would be chrono cross on the snes

overall no. Final fantasy has too many good games. There may be one game that can MATCH ff. In my opinion that game is Kingdom Hearts 2. This game is incredibly addictive and fun. Try it out.

FF is super overrated. If you want a breath of fresh air, I'll suggest Super Robot Wars series (unless if you're not a mecha otaku).

for sure there isthe point why FF become a great game because of the developer and that is SquareSoft and SquareEnix, even both of them are different owner but both of them have quality...

Dragon quest/warrior is the only game that i consider better than ff games. For some reason the new ff rpgs are good but i still miss the old school ones and i consider them to be the best in the series.

In terms of gameplay I really like grandia much more for it's combat system.While grandia's storyline usually doesn't really deliver neither does Final fantasy's.

Such an easy question. If you're a FF fan that thinks the first FF was FF7, ALL THE RPG SERIES ARE BETTER THAN FF. If you know that there are other FFs before FF7, only Dragon Quest, Chrono, Phantasy Star, Tales of, Mana series and one or two more that I forgot to put here.

according to me there are no games avalible that could possible be better than final fantasy for the main reason is ive grown most of my game playing life around final fantasy games and the fact that i think final fantasy is unique in making every game a new story instead of going from the one before it exeption ff 10 10/2

suikoden is usually pretty good, i was never a fan of it though. crono cross was pretty cool too, it had a wierd battle system but at the same time it was kind of cool.

I wouldn't say there is a series better than FF, but there are those that are equal to it. I think the first two Wild Arms games (the other two weren't as great) and Legend of Dragoon are just as good as any FF in existence.

It doesn't matter which way you look at it, FF is the best RPG ever. There are some good RPG's out there but none of them can't take on FF and its numbers. I mean come on, how many of them have a number like 12 or 13 at the end of their name.
