ff Is famous cause its sexy Cgs/lil movies + more lolbut i would say suikoden 5 is LALALA right next to Ff on ps2on gamecube i really liked was tales of symphonia i loved the storyline and gameplay

I think anything RPG from Square is decent, they're all at the same level to me. Zelda series are amazing, the only Rpg i can think of that is not made by Square and is as good as the FF series.

Xenogears, and Xenosaga. Xenogears was near perfect, and while I cannot say the same for the Xenosaga series, I still prefer it over many Final Fantasys. Also, Xenosaga 3 was the best RPG I've played in years.

Did you mean Sailor Moon: Another Story? Not a terrible SNES game, but I may have actually had more fun with it then certain Final Fantasy RPGs. I mean, who doesn't want to scream Moon Prism Power, Make-up! while playing an RPG?Just to prove I'm not lying...this will be laughed at: but if only Sailor Moon had an RPG. lol.

it depends on which FF you refer to. 7,10, and 12 are crap. 6,8, and 9 are the best. in the middle is 1-5. and for gods sake, don't get FF3 for the DS. they ****ed it up so badly. tactics was decent... tactics advance and crystal chronicles i refuse to include in the series. the GBA ones have also been ****ed up. nintendo is making games for toddlers these days, so any post-snes FF from nintendo is gonna suck. so what i'm saying is that theres a hierarchy.6,8,91-5 and other rpgs7,10,12 and nintendo

FF games are really overated. They're pretty much just a string of cutscenes tied together with the occasional battle. There's no roleplaying at all in them, you just go and fight until you trigger the next cutscene, rinse, lather, repeat.

Oh goodness me, where do I start. How about Rogue Galaxy... That has got to be way up there...And then there's the Nippon Ichi games... (though they are more of a competition to FF Tactics really...)And then there's Shadow Hearts...And lets not forget Valkyrie ProfileThere's lots of RPGs that if they aren't BETTER than FF (which is a matter of opinion really) at least give it a run for its money...

I dont believe there is a game out there better than the FF series, but if your looking for games that are in the same league of FF, then try Dragon Quest.

I love both of them.For me it's difficult to decide which one is better,although we have to consider that FF is a much longer saga that KH,so I think I would choose FF as the best :smile1:Kingdom Hearts it's a good RPG...I like it better than FF...

If there is, I haven't found it yet.... Honestly, I don't know if there will EVER be an RPG game (let alone SERIES) that compares to FF. Kingdom Hearts is pretty good, but still doesn't hold a candle to FF.
