I could definitely see why parents disallow kids age 1-10 from playing M rated games. The thing is, once a child is old enough, they can be talked to. They can be explained deep things such as the epidemic of violence in the world. If you've raised a child the correct way, keeping them moral people, then I believe M rated games could be enjoyable for them.

Or they could watch the news and get screwed up that way. I wouldn't encourage young children to play games were they might pick up bad habits though. Like killing people on the street, because they wanted to "train".I could definitely see why parents disallow kids age 1-10 from playing M rated games. my parents dont care what i play. but i dont think that just by playing games with blood and gore that the kid will grow up to be a killer. sure it will rot their brain for playing it all day but no i doubt it. unless the kid had family problems or something.

My parents buy me M rated games. Before I couldn't get games when ESRB added new content to it like Intense Violence...but now, that does not matter anymore.

My parents don't really care what games I play, as long as they don't make my younger brother want to start killing people, but I think its too late already. My dad is is sane, but my mom is insane to me. Once school is over for me, my mom can't tell me to do homework anymore. (insert evil laugh with a lightning strike in the background.)

My parents dont stop me from playing them they tried when I was younger, but now they just tell me I play too much when I really dont (with school and a jop I have no time). But Im 18 now so all that doesnt matter.

My parents really dont care what i playnowadays i dont think many people dobut then its crazy how severaly years ago 5 year olds would say amaa whenever u said a swear word now they run around saying F*** constantlyits crazylol i jack tompso blames this on gamesnever mind the fact that no one cares about swear words anymoreso hows violence on a game gonna effect a child its monkey see monkey dothe kids gonna do what ever other people docept the only game that blew things outta proportion so far is MAN huntkilling people with all kinds of things
