I'd say it's Resident Evil 2, because it was my first horror game for the PS1!

What can i say. I playied all RE. Not scared, but really great 
(never get A or S grade o0").Playied Silent Hill.. It's game for one playing. Second time it's really boring. But music and "S***, no ammo" moments are great :oAlonte in The Dark: The New Nightmare. Best horror game i've ever played (PSX) ^^it has sometimes scare moments ;pplayed Parasite Eve. it's more RPG than horror o0" but it has the best "Last Boss"

Definitely Parasite Eve. It really grossed me out when this whole stadiumful of people started melting into this jellylike substance and then coalesced into this big ol' slimy blob creature.

Honestly, I've never played a horror game. Just never interested I guess... Although one of my friends said he'd lend me one so we'll see how that goes.

I'm not quite fan of Horror games because I might have a hard time to forget scary images on my mind. But I would like to try clock Tower for a starter.

RE4 was awesome, I liked the new content in the PS2 version, the game was just fun, it scared the crap outa me the first time I played through, my nerves were shot by the end, I playd alone in the dark as well.

I would have to go with Resident Evil 2 especially with the Stalking Tyrant Mr X and altough he was easy the giant Aligator, william was kind of scary in hes tyrant like forms but his speed made him weak at the begining, second place goes to resident evil 3, only because of nemesis though,

Much like everyone else, I'd have to say Resident Evil's 1, 2, and 3. Out of those, I really enjoyed 2 and 3...and 3 moreso than 2. I really liked the zombie survival away from a boring mansion and into a deadly metropolis. When Capcom made the Resi games for the Gamecube with revamped graphics, I was ecstatic. I'll always enjoy these games, that much is for certain!

Well, I'll have to say that I LOVE ALL horror games in general, I have to say the "SURVIVAL" in survival horror is missing from Resident Evil. Too much ammo scattered about makes the game too easy. The Silent Hill series is great, but it also has the same problems RE has; too many weapons/ammo. Though it does mess with you psychologically. My faves have to be the Fatal Frame series, though. The way the ghosts introduced and how they look and the story, it the game is just frakking scary! I think the Condemned series is a close second. But if I have to pick one, it's Fatal Frame 1, the one that really set the bar in my opinion.
