Devil May Cry 1.... If you count it as a horror... Noting like a game with large swords, evil decomposing monsters and blood flying everywhere.

only played silent hill and resident evil.resident is more on suspense.silent hill gives me the creeps, the silence gives it.

I vote for silent hill, cause there's something about the RE games that bugs me. The only thing scary about RE1 is the voice acting. Need I remind everyone about the guy who got bit by the snake. Needless to say, I've never laughed so hard at a part in a game before in my life.

wow, silent hill overtook more than i would have expectedI've always been a resident evil man myself, first one i played was RE2, got me hooked forever, i have all the books now and still play the games, this series is too good.

Silent Hill because I found myself getting scared just walking around the world. Resident Evil didn't scare me as much. All I did was jump at a few parts of the game. Silent Hill is more of the screw-around-with-your-head type of game and I like that.

Silent Hill is quiet scary. The background and graphic is horror.The demon is scary too

Of course Silent Hill. The atmosphere and Akira Yamaoka's music will make you chill with fear. RE was just adrenaline. Not scary at all.
