Well it depends on what you mean by best... If its the scariest, best story, gameplay etc...But for me the overall best horror game for the playstaion is resident evil two because of its replay value... A close second would be Silent hill (which I think is the scariest one)

I too, have been told Silent Hill is scariest game ever. Not to mention they're making a movie out of it. Whack!Silent Hill is quite scary (I've been told)

Silent Hill makes me happy. And Harry is such a nerd. xP It's funny how he's so obsessed with Cheryl throughout the game.

Well i'm not going to post the best horror just giving my opinions on the horror games i played :(Resident Evil 1 : Best Resident evil game made imoResident Evil 2 : Was good but it couldn't top of the first :(Resident Evil 3 : I found it better than Resident Evil 3 DNO why but i think it has to do with jill ;)Silent Hill: When this release was announced i tought it was a rip-off of Resident Evil boy was i wrongthis game rocked !!In those games i pooted my pants while playing it when it was dark

parasite eve 2 was an awsome game and resident evil 2 was the best in the series

Wow!! I'm puting yet another vote in for Silent Hill....This was the first game i got once i had finished my project of hooking up my guitar amp with my PSX and putting it under the bed!!!With that up loud and no lights thisd game scared the crap outta me!

I disagree about silent hill, It has a lot of ryddles, Fog is nasty and monsters usually attack cowardly, so this game cause me enrage and not fear... I personally prefer RE3 because the surprise attacks of Nemesis, the terranigma like chose and the few ammo you can get, the part where ammo is useless is with Carlos, because he is better with the knife

Silent Hill definatly, it is also my favorite video game series. I dont find resident evil scary at all.
