I think it was due to all the hours I put into playing all the games. And for the fact that it has not brock down or aneything like that.

I think the PS2 is worth the price but the games are worth it but the price isnt.

No chance at all. I paid $500 at launch and it was a horrible decision. I never even bought a game for it until after a year after I had it. Pretty expensive dvd player if you ask me. I still only own 7 games for it.

The 250 dlls I payed for it, worth every single penny. Double catalog than X-box, sublime RPGs, and metal gers, gta, gt. Of course, i don't regreat anything against my PS2.

think i got it for $200. it was absolutely worth my money sinced i had so much fun games to play on it. now i just want to focus on another console.

of course. Most of japanese games come in ps 2, not many xbox have srw series, or they don't have it.

I've had mine for four years and I still get a ton of use out of it. There have been some truly great games on there, a lot of great games actually. Plus, I can also use it as a DVD player, because I'm cheap. So yeah, it's worth it.

Yep, worth every last penny. I've used it like almost every single day from the day I bought it. But I think some games cost too much. Sometimes when they first come out its like 50$, so I usually just wait a month or so until they drop down a little.

I bought mine used for $99, then I had to pay $30 to get the lens repaired... but it was SO worth it! My daughter and I both get a kick out of me playing Dragon Quest VIII (she'll be all, "play hero, Mommy? HERO! YAY!" and then sit down next to me with her control and "help" me play).I do not regret buying it at all. Ever.

I'd say it is, so many fine games for teh PS2, far more than for N64 or gamecube.
