i actually think the original sims was better. much more, classical if thats the word to use

I like the sims 2 better but i had all of the expansion packs for the first sims so i think the original is more fun.Anyone heard of spore? It's from the makers of the sims but you create your own alien species and control its evolution from a single cell to it taking over the universe. Google spore for more info. It should be coming out this summer.

Definitely Sims 2. The sequel was a lot better than the first in both gameplay & features. I loved it!

Sims 2 of course its better than the first and there still making expansions

Sims is great to leave running on its own. just cheat =) cash up heaps and let it run in the background while you do other stufftake a look again to see what they're up to. =) its all LALALALA! seriously, i just like building houses.

I loved the original, but the Sims 2 is so much better, with the graphics and everything. It's not as brilliantly wacky as the original was, but every sim seems to be more unique, they all have little quirky things that make them special.

The Sims 2 won't install on my laptop, for whatever reason ;_; But I have The Sims Complete Collection and I absolutely love it.

I kinda dislike them both, but given the choice I'd probibally go with the newer one, simply because it's newer and probibally has better concepts and items.

Well the sims 2 is certainly better than 1. It can view closer and the graphic is quite nice.

I like making a handsome male sims and then a pretty sexy female sims. then a guy own a house another girl own a house, so when they got married they money will increase. starting money 20k + 20k. :)

I liked SIMS 2 better because of its great graphics gamplay. I'm sure almost everyone would love Sims 2 better than Sims 1.
