It's really not that hard. Just jump and the moment you leave the ground, immediately press the L-button and down/right (or left). You're essentially dodging into the ground. But if you do it straight down, the ground absorbs the impact and if you do it sideways, well, you're just dodging sideways. But when you go into the ground at an angle, the ground doesn't absorb the impact, so the momentum has to go somewhere, creating a wavedash! Basic physics really...heard that wavedash is good but never seen it irl tho...

Haha, that is EXACTLY how I play any Smash Bros game as well!What is the wavedash?I just bash buttons. And try and smash them off the screen.
