It depends. If you do all the side missions and whatnot, I could see putting in 20+ hours.If you just follow the story and go through the game I'm sure you could do it quicker.I waited to do the missions the second time I played the game, adding a lot of replay value to it.How long does it take to beat this game?

First off this game is not better than Final Fantasy 7 but it dose tell us things that were not explained in FF7. What i didnt like was that u only get to control Zack and use other people more like summons than anything.When i saw previews for this game i was looking forward to using sephroth and cloud but there more like special attacks. Oh and before i forget the game play was alright but it has too much of a Kingdom Hearts feel too it.

i like how you can do New Game+(for those who dont know what that is, its when u beat the game and start up a New Game+, you keep all your items, play time, gil, materia and your level from the save that you completed the game in, cool eh?).

i have this game and its alsomethough they couldve made leveling up much easierand some of the boss not so high in health or strength

lol i couldnt play anything else until i finished the game. i never got tired of itits a nice game at start but after a while u will get tired of it.. haha, btw i havent completed this game yet... was too lazy to play it..

i dont know what squareenix was thinking. the idea of remaking FF7 for the psp is great but how they actually did it is very disappointing. the battle system, those little slot machine things, leveling up, and the repetitive side missions were a big let down i think square just used FF7 as a marketing tool without putting much time into it just to make money off the name. If you played and liked the original FF7 you wont like this game.

It's real time, but there is no transition from map to battle field. You can see some of the enemies before you fight but those are usually the ones you have to fight, so it's not like FFXII where you can run away from them.Uhhhhh right quick question...it the combat real time or ff type

I am about 74% done with all the mission and I am enjoying the game as I play although I haven't played it much since the mission got harder. In addition, adding on to what other say about the the battle system, one thing I have to critisize about this game would be the escape system because sometimes the monsters can kill you before they allow you to leave a battle which make it frustrating sometimes.

I just gave this game a download today. Took 4 hours to download on my nooby internet, but it's pretty good. I started it on Hard mode cause I wanted a challenge, and it's a pretty good difficulty in my opinion.

Played the Japanese ISO when it came out and beat. Totally worth it, even though I didn't understand the Japanese.

Continuing to play this game, I don't really like it. The story line is incredible the gameplay is kinda meh ~ I'll probably beat it eventually, but right now my final fantasy attention is directed to FINAL FANTASY 4 for the DS

recently bought and finished the game....story was okay not that great....battling was fun initially....missions just sucked....no variety really to missions asides from difficulty....So many broken crap that piss me off, like stop,stun....anything insta-death

UGH! I cant tell anyone how much this game rocked! Battle system:This is one of the best/worst parts of the game. The battle system is best described as the Kingdom Hearts Battle system. You think at first, wow why dont I go play Kingdom hearts, but as you progress in the game you get better skills and abilities. (2/2)Graphics:I gotta hand it to the PSP, this is the finest looking game it has to offer. The cutscenes run smoothly, and the effects are remarkable. Plus the character detail is outstanding, especially for a handheld. (2/2)Story: Alot of questions are answered, and a few more are sparked. I'm not gonna give anything away, so i'll let you find out ;] (1.5)Music:UGHYDKHFATMI! (<--You dont know how frikkin awesome the music is!) This (for me) is where this Game shined!. I have always loved listening to video game music, but this games audio is-its-its just frikkin amazing! Within the first hour I was playing i paused it to go download the OST. this game is absolutely amazing. i couldnt put my psp down at all. graphics were awesome, storyline was great. ill admit i cried a bit in the end. one of the best games on psp so far.

i absolutely loved this game! i liked everything about it. graphics were awesome, cutscenes were godlike, sounds are beautiful, storyline is fun, entertaining, and sad. it's the best game i've played for a handheld console. period.
