no it seems like the glue that holds them together slows wears out, and the case begins to open up, most of my old games do that.

How do you possibly break the cases? Where do you put the UMD? Under your chair? If you put the UMD back in the case after playing, The UMD will last longer.

I think the cases are great, I like the fact that the CD part isn't easily scratched. I did get a cheeto crumb in the slit of the plastic though.

Best bet is to go out and buy one of those Diamond Plate, multi cases, they can hold several UMD's, and a couple of normal disks as well, not to mention you can toss it off a building and not get much, if any damage. As long as the case is locked, and that buuilding isn't HUUUGE!

I work in a game store and when the PSP first came out we had so many idiots returning their games and psp's as defective because they were breaking open the umd's to get the disc inside... :P

I usually keep my UMDs lying around (most noticably on the floor with no coverings) and they're still usable. I'm not quite sure what you've been doing with yours.

We are not talking about storing the UMDs we are taking about the UMDs themselves.

the umd case is pretty cool but weak indeed...but honestly... I dont think there would be any game case which could stand against heavy damages...

HAHA, if you're breaking the umd cases, then you either are too rough w/ those UMDs or you don' take good care of them
