theres no way they would ever kill off such a popular series but if they did they would replace it with a popular character from the series (for example maybe a game focusing on roll or gutsman) only the future will show what will happen

Megaman will never die, only get really really hurt...kind of like team rocket. Unless you mean will he fade out of popularity, then the answer is of course because everything does. Maybe you mean will he fade out of popularity soon. how soon? tomorrow? no.

It's hard to say - I think Capcom will just keep reinventing Mega Man as many times as they can. New genres and whatnot. Maybe one day we'll get a real 3D Action game out of these revivals, but I have a feeling thats decades away.

Not really... It's Capcom's finest money giver.They should remake Megaman Legends 1, 2 and Tron Bonne into Wii (using the Wiimote as Trigger's weapon)... I'd hit it.

No it will not die. There's so many Megaman games and look how long it lasted. By the year 2100 there will probably a Megaman X 120 or something.

Technically, the original Megaman is dead. He died somewhere between Megaman & Bass and Megaman X.

Na, I think they'll keep making a new "Hundreds of Years Later" series and then abruptly ending it after about 8 or so titles and starting another "Hundreds of Years after the last Hundreds of Years Later" series. They seem pretty fond of doing that.Megaman -->100's of years latter--> Megaman X -->100's of years and a big storyline gap latter--> Megaman Zero -->100's of years latter--> Megaman ZXI can't wait to see what they're going to call Megaman ZX2. I'm thinking they're going to go to powers instead so the second ZX game would be ZX2, followed by ZX3, etc!ive grown up with megamna and i would be haert broken but do u think megaman will ver die?

megaman will never die because they will also think of something really crazy to do with the series but will end up good ( megaman battle network) which will be ruined now thanks to the change of the way the battles go but who knows it might be better than the original battle network series
