As a franchise, it's very hard for Mega Man to die. Some of the most recent games (specifically, remakes) have had somewhat poor sells, but as long as there is interest in the franchise's series, there shouldn't be an end to it anytime soon. As for the series, there should be a concrete reason/idea as for think on concluding them. It surely would be sad if the series end halfway through the story, but it may happen if there's a lack of interest from us and/or poor selling. If there's a saga "killing", I hope it happens with the final game turning out to be a link between that saga and another saga whose ambient is located later in the future, as it is to some extent with Mega Man Zero 4 and Mega Man ZX (this is what Capcom needs to do with the Classic and X series, and the X series with the Zero series. After all, it's almost safe to say that Classic, X, Zero and ZX are part of the same timeline).

Even though the series and games might die out, Megaman will never, ever die. He's forever immortalized in a video game, so its technically impossible lol.

No. Not until Capcom says "Alright, SNK. You win."Then again, I still haven't seen Megaman 9... come on. X? Dead give away to be a chronological tenth game. Fulfill that claim, Capcom. Do it for the fans. (Not that I am one.)

indeed...oh look Megaman's head...yea! 1-up!depends on how many 1-ups you have <3eventually all games die out, but megaman has been around almost since the beggining of nintendo, so it won't be for quite a while
