okay....so Megaman is getting old...but look at it like this...Megaman X storyline carried over to Megaman Zero....which then carried over to the ZX set....so how can you call a game series that actually employs a storyline a dead series?if you ask me its already dead cause that ne one for ds

if u say megaman talking about the game it wont die cause its funny and almost all the kids like it 
but if u say megaman talking about X they have killed him lot of times in ds games 
but zero is like special he die more and always revive X dont

Technically, Mega-Man X is dead-they killed him in the Zero series, while also FINALLY finishing Zero off. (Note--X series killed him no less than eight times)

If you ask about the character, well, considering the X series story, and that Inafune said Rockman and X are different robots... Rockman probably died... I think it would have been better if Rockman became X...

Megaman was great until Star Force. Star Force just doesn't feel megamany to me. Battle Network was one of the best games I have ever played. I don't think it will die soon.

Aren't there like, multiple Megamans? Like there's the original, then there's the X series, which I think comes after the originals, then Zero, which is a character from X. Plus them battle network games.

I could care less about MegaMan, give me more Zero! I wish they would just continue the X series, or at least try to fill in the gaps between games. Or maybe make remakes and add more story line. X4 was the best! Actually, forget everything I just said, all they need to do is make the entire X series into an anime, AND release it in the US! Yeah! If they do that, I'll be happy!
