Knuckles OWNS!! I've only played the SEGA Genesis games (tried a GBA ROM but It looks really bad). Knuckles can climb without getting tired, he can glide through the air, impaling enemies and he just looks cool.

I like Shadow over Sonic because I prefer his personality more mostly, but I must admit he looked way better too.As for most characters, it's hard to say really, considering how much the stories have been changed over the years.Who here remembers back when the Sonic games were based on a planet called Mobius and Robotnik was originally a friend of Sonic's called Dr. Kintobor?
