Originally, it was a Christmas present, but my sister broke the disc drive. so I had to get rid of it. A few years later when I was in 6th grade though, my Dad gave me his a birthday present.

I got mine like 3 years ago in China. Everything there was cheap as hell.1200 for a new ps2 came with 2 controllers memory card and 15 games.

Erm i bought mines well my dad bought ours at Fry's Electronics for $300 dollars. Big rip-off because there were no good ps2 games at the time.

I bought one for myself at a store. The other 6 that I own I get from friends who think that there PS2 is broken. I ask if I can have it for spare parts and they're like 'ya ok whatever' and somehow I managed to fix all but one. So now I have 6 working PS2s and one dead one. Aint i lucky?

I got my PS2 from my local video game store for $110.00 It took about 3-4 months of allowance, my parents paid for 40% of it, though.

Fall of 2003. Bought it from Buy.com, although in hindsight I was working at a store with electronics. So stupid more on my part.
