i caught missingno can my whole file waas corrupted and i lost all the 151 pokemon i so hardly earned

I got infinite items in my backpack, item 6 I think it was? And I got random pokemon in the sea after that - Rhydon, Tangella etc. at over level 100. Missingno evolved into Kangaskhan when it levelled up. Nothing bad happened to my game, though, as far as I know.

I caught Missigno and nothing happened.. I had one.. it was level like 333 or something like that.. and it only knew Water gun (2 slots of it) Sky attack and something else i cant quite remember.. Unlike most ppl's games mine never messed up... unfortunately, I was also one of the people who could never use the same way to get missigno to get Mewtwo.. I only got to battle RREALLY STRONG snorlaxes that knocked out all my pokemon... Missigno is wierd.. i caught an army of 10 before, lol...

When I caught him it nothing too bad. Of course hall of fame messed up, And sometimes there was grass on rooftops or my guy got stuck. Eventually my Missingno evolved from a Missingno to a different pokemon each battle and then it settled on a lv 1 onyx. I think I remember sending it out once and I ended up sending out my trainer with an infinate hp bar.

I remember catching him once, he had like 20 HP bars, then when he died the game glitched like crazy.

I cought it but you shouldn't coz it stuffs up the game. It's a glitch but I also agree with BfyFour about it being a virus.

nope sorry, didn't catch it myself but saw my friend do it. but, the other used gameshark codes the other day on silver/gold and tried codes for non existent numbers. we started battling with something that resembled building blocks, caught it and then... the games graphics went random and we decided to start over. maybe you should try it for yourself sometime....

I have caught Missingno. 7 times, and the names of all of my pokemon we're glitched up and didn't make any sense. Also my hall of fame was glitched up, and my pokemon we're changed. My second time i beat the league, i used Pikachu, Lapras, Charizard, Articuno and Mewtwo. My pc showed: Ghastly, Caterpie, Dragonair, Missingno. (well a square of glitches) and what hydro pump looks like when you use it in a battle.I have also caught M a few times, basically did the same as the missingno.s i caught.

they do u can get two of them in ruby and saphire gold and silverI caught missingno once, only my hall of fame got buggered. I say the new pokemon games need easter eggs as a homage to Missingno. It'd be great to see one in the wild and you freak out, only to see that it is a Ditto. Am i the only one who thinks that?

I've caught it before. What happens afterwards usually depends on the individual cartridge. For example, I caught one in my Red version and nothing happened; I gave it a rare candy, and I had a Kangaskhan. I caught one in Blue, and my game froze; when I rebooted the Gameboy, it said that the "file data has been destroyed." Just watch out for that.

I did it and got a messed up hall of fame. I also used a rare candy on it and got a kangashkan. It also messed up the spirtes of my pokemon during battle and when I attacked the opponent their sprites went glitchy too.

i did caught one.... after that it messed up my file..... the hall of fame, some sprites, and every time i start a new game my game always gets erased....

I caught it many times when I was a kid. I caught it for fun, gave it rare candies, and even tried to put it onto Pokemon Stadium. Luckily I was smart enough to not save my game when i had missingno. But alot of weird stuff happened when I played around with him. The worst thing that ever happened was that my save file got corrupted after restarting my Gameboy; but luckily for me, another restart brang my data back.

I didnt know what would happen if i caught one, but when i did, my hall of fame was so bootleged. I had to buy a new game.

I caught one. At first nothing happend for awhile so i decided to try and catch another one, but as i surfed up and down i ran into a bug trainer who's pokemon were all missingno's hahaha.

I remember cathing one in Pokemon Blue, surfing alongside Cinabar island. Haha that was years ago.
