When you catch m or missing no., your PC boxes will start generating random pokemon at random lvl's with random names. Your pokemon on the battle screen will look like missingno as well. Eventually your game will screw up to the point where you can no longer really play it. At that point, restart and make a new game, and then cry yourself to sleep. lol

I caught a M´issigno, but when my game began to run bad, I reset my game (rom) before the capture of the M´issigno and all runs very well.

the only thing that happened to me was that when i looked at my trainer card, murphy's law took action, and everything that could go wrong did, so i just avoided looking at it and gave it a bunch of rare candies, and eventually it turned into a khangaskhan, if i remember rightOH! and when i looked at my hall of fame, i ended up with 99 pages of random parties with random symbols for names and occasionally a picture that would look like a fat missingno

What i do when I am about to take a risk. I make 2 files and if one gets messed up I use the other one. For example: I used a Gameshark code that gave me infinite rarecandy. The downfall was that all my items WERE the rare candy unless I disable or take off the code. Then when I made almost all my pokemon evolve I was no longer able to buy items even though I had no items at all. So I used the backup file.

I caught one of them (can't remember which one, it was a while ago). I taught it Fly with an HM, and used a rare candy on it, and it evolved into Kangaskhan. I have to admit that it was cool using a Kangaskhan (seriously LOL) who knew wing attack, fly, and water gun in Pokemon Stadium. My game didn't get messed up at all. :/

Missingno is a glitch pokemon....nothing else. If you are unlucky enough to catch it it corrupts the hall of fame and can cause loss of the game save data. Although it can be obtained by mean of gameshark I would back up my data before attempting to obtain in any method. There are other glitches obtained by gameshark although all of them screw up the game. If your catching it get a rom and an emulator to be save and create one save file before you get it and one after for best safety.... B)

Well, I caught them, and then my gamepaks dissapeared, but I don't think that's really the game's fault...

never played it, but my friend found a level 156 ditto after catching it, and it appeared (the ditto) in a pokemon centre while healing.anybody questioning, no there nothing in your party when healing.oh and the trainer used headbutt.

i caught missingo, but then everything in the game pretty much screwed up, and then it turned into a level 120 kangasskhan after i battled with it.

i caught it in my original blue version(that i had bought) and nothing happens. it acts just like a regular pokemon. but in the pokemon select screen it just shows random pictures of different pokemon or people. i think i used to have like 3 too, but then set them free

when i caught missing No nothing happen at first...then lv 250 snorlaxs started popping up at the dock in cinnabar island.....then when ever i tryedto release Missing No it would freeze my game...... then whenever i try to look at the elite 4 champions list it go's all wack and the music changes and ramdom pokemon started popping up....and there was some weird pokemon..non that anyone has ever seen..there was a combo of like a pikachu and jiggly puff..and the different forms of Missing no....eventually i started all over. but man it was wierd when the combo pokemon came up i got really scared :Doh and in red version after i caught missing no, then when i surf all up and dont the cinnibar docks surf to the side of the gym....you will then have like the starting of a pokeon battle.....but a trainer pops up...this is no lie....and all his pokemon are missing no....when this happen to me i was like 8 i got sooo scared because i didnt kno wat was happening

yes missingno is for item hack...but if u catch it too much time....heh.....you wont be surprise to find your save data ****ed up.
