I caught one using an emulator... and one friend of mine really screwed things up when he transferred it to pokemon yellow. I've been told the other pokemon you catch by this method, as well as it's level, it's determined by your name... a friend of my got a level 200 snorlax...

lol it starts at level 180 or somethingwen I caught it, I think I trained it to level 100 (not very sure, kinda forgetful) but then afta I try to level it up again it returned to level 1

When I caught it, nothing out of the ordinary happend at first. But then some of the graphics, such as the battle graphics, were getting all glitchy, and the cries were going out of place. I knew what the risks were for catching Missingo, but I ignored them. Now I started a new game, and the graphics are in place, with the cries being normal. The reason why I started a new game was because 1)I finished the game 2)I was starting to get annoyed by the out of order things, such as the graphics, and 3)I was getting worried if the entire game would go bye-bye, preventing me from ever playing the game again. I should be happy that those were the only things affecting my game after catching Missingo.***The worst thing that can happen if you catch Missingo is when you can never play that Pokémon game again. Even starting a new game won't help. The cartridge will become too corrupt to do anything, so the only way of fixing it will be to replace it. That's why I am now experimenting with Missingo in the ROM, and not in the original

never catch itit stuffs up your gamei looked in my pokemon part and instead of having little creatures as their avatars, i had peopleit was really bad

i caught one then i went to trade it to silver and it said i couldnt when they were pokemon like girafarig

I had a theory about why Missingno works. The name simply looks like Missing No or Missing Number. This would happen when certain variable within the game work against each other and corrupt the random battle variable. Talking to the coffe guy could mess with the variable that determines what pokemon you get in a battle and would not reset it. When you surf, the game trys to access "pokemon #" + "said variable" and gets some bogus number like 207. Since the origianal pokemon game only has 151, it returns that the pokemon is a missing number and cannot be found. This is also why you can get stuff like level 150+ Snorlax in the same cheat. Of course this is all just specualtion and I haven't tested it.Sorry, did I ruin your fun?And, no, I've never caught him

If u catch da first muissingo, it mucks it up!!If you catch second u see while still surfing, nothin happens!!!

I captured (glitchblock) 'm (glitchblock) and it screwed up my hall of fame (bad) and when I saw it it did it's trademark trick of duplicationg your 6th item. (good)

I caught M. I didnt c al the effects it did 2 my gam cus wen i saw tat my Hal of Fam was mesed up, i got frkin scared and deleted the gam.

I caught one before i used the gameshark and caught one with the catch other peoples pokemon code and i caught a trainer....but nothing happened when i seemed to catch it that way.

I never caught it on an actual cart, however I did play with it lots in Blue and Red via the No$GBEmu. Nothing really happened though...I was too scared to catch it on my real game

After catching Missingno, I started to find level 200 something Pokemon. So I caught 1 and leveled it up and it's level drop down to 100. Oh no! there goes my level 200 something Golduck. :'(
