I was wondering if there were any games for the NDS that were easy enough that someone that couldn't read would be able to figure out. We were thinking of buying a NDS for my brother, the only problem is we are unsure of what games to get him as he is deaf, ontop of that he has a learning disability which makes him unable to read very well.He is very fond of video games and some he can play some games pretty well such as: Yoshi's Island (GBA), Mario games, Ultamite Spider man (GCN) Ed, Edd n' Eddy Mis-Edventures (GCN), and Scooby-Doo Unmasked.Fighting games, shooting games and some adventure games find to be too challenging.Would anyone be able to tell me some games that he would possibly enjoy?

I don't know if he will find it very challenging, but Wario Ware Touched is pretty nice, and you don't need to understand the 'story' to have fun with it.Kirby: Canvas Curse is also very fun. It's a platform game like Mario but using the stylus.

maybe megaman zx when it comes out. im expecting the gameplay the be similar to megaman zero and that was pretty fun. plus the story is probably gonna be crappy, so he wont be missing out on anything.

Bust a move (or something like these) would also be nice.

No Animal Crossing because it requires you to read alot, and no Warioware Touched! because each minigame has instructions on what to do. Plus, for a child with a learning disability?

I think that animal crossing nintendogs (but it gets boring) and mario kart require pretty low reading

Tetris DS. Very little reading involved. I think you could play tetris without any words at all. It's just that universal.btw, if you don't like reading, why did you ask a FORUM about this?

Dragonball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2.The game has some parts with reading, but you can skip the whole part and start fighting right away. The messages aren't important, only when you like the (alternative) stories and if you want to learn fighting by reading, but the fighting is quite easy to learn even without reading.

He's getting it for someone else, not himself.I'd recommend Tetris DS and perhaps Warioware Touched! Instructions are very minimal and the minigames are quite easy to pick up. If not, Puzzle Bubble and Bubble Bobble works fine too. Oh! Don't forget bomberman. :(
