Pichu, while not my personal character of choice, is not all that bad. Yes you do cause self-damage when using any sort of electric/energy attack, but note that those attacks are more powerfu than pikachu's, especially the skull bash. Pichu's primary strength is his speed and agility, which allows him to get to items faster than alost any other character, excluding Capt. Falcon and Sheik.

Pichu's attacks may be more powerful then pikachu but pikachu sucks too. Out of all the characters I've tried those two are the worst, oh and jigglypuff.

I am a Pichu-user. (Yeah you hate me...) Anyway, I use Pichu because I am awesome at dodging and catching others off guard. From my personal experience, Pichu can fend off expert players using Pikachu, Fox, and Marth. It takes a lot more experience to be an awesome Pichu player than the other characters.

Pichu is low tier. He's down there with Mewtwo as one of the worse characters in the game. I don't get the hate on jigglypuff, she is easily the best pokemon in the game.

Pichu isn't awesome in 1 on 1's but if it's a 4-man free for all, he's pretty good if you charge his headbutt without anyone going after you...

Pichu isb't the best but it does have powerful attacks and all. The bad side is that it hurts itself.

I never used Pichu, but when my friends come over, one of them always uses Pichu, and he is UBER good with him. I don't know, but Pichu is not my kind of fighting character.

yea i agree with everyone pichu has a bad side n a good potential too but to me thinking it as more powerfuller than pichachu is true but to other characters such as sheik pichu sucks like hell no one could beat sheik!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he rules if anyone wants to challenge me bring it on!!!!! ill be waiting

In all actuality, it only comes down to a matter of opinion. I say Pichu is useful, because I am the attack that only attacks when I can get a major slug in. However, I don't use him often. To be persise, I only use Marth, but hell, I could use Pichu if I wanted to.

pikachu owns. only thing remotely good about pichu is that he is hard 2 hit.bad things include damaging himself, being light and being weak.

I like to use Pichu in SSBM because of Pichu's speed. The only downside is that it hurts itself when using electrical attacks. Overall I think Pichu is ok.

used him once but hated it because he hurts himself. pikachu could do much of the same things without the recoil
