I can't stand using pichu. I like to attack from a distance, so everytime I use its shock attack, it gets hurt. I much prefer Zelda/Sheik and Samus.

I don't use Pichu, and I kick everybody's butt when THEY are Pichu (Then again, I'll kick their butt anyway :3). So that makes him kind of lame. He's a cutie though, especially with the goggles.

Pichu is useless in almost every aspect. I cant remember where I heard this, but Pichu is designed to be a light and agile character to easily reach and take advantage of items. But as Pichu is so short, when it does throw an item, it lands like 1mm away, killing its major advantage. Not to mention Pichu is the lightest character in the game, and can easily be smashed out at just 50% damage.

Pichu is annoying because it hurts itself, but it is one of my best characters for that game. I haven't played for a while but i used to kick butt with Pichu.

Pichu's alright, once you get the hang of him. You just need to focus on the moves that don't damage himself and you will be fine.

YES! Pichu is awful. My favorite character in the Gcube and Wii games is Pikachu (capt falcon on the N64, only because of the sweet-looking 2d fire effects) and here comes Pichu stealing his thunder (no pun intended) grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

k for you pichu haters out there here's a fun way to get your pichu hate out all in one rather short match while getting better at using the little mouse yourself.Go into a match of super sudden death, turn the damage ratio up to 2.0 and turn on handicap and turn it all the way down to 1. Turn on the following items, Bomb-om, both shells, flippers, and party balls.Now have as many players as you want *using coms to replace the players not present.*Turn the melee to stock match of 30and go to Mute City and let the pichu slaughter begin.This is a quick party favorite, it turns each pichu into an instant kill if you so much as soft attack A them.so have fun Pichu haters ^^.

I really don't see why pichu is really necessary besides the fact it's fast and does more dmg than pikachu.....that's kinda wut fox is for right?
