I hate pichu..... u can only use melee to not hurt yourself so you get rid of a big aspect of the character.

i do use pichu though. BUt not often. I perfer to use zelda or peach. When i do choose pichu, its mainly because my sister, cuz and i want to do a pokemon battle only, where we only choose pokemon and have pokeballs to fight with.

yea pichu's kinda bad but i rather play as pichu than mewtwo, i suck with him he's too sloow. But of course, like with any other character in the game they could all be played to be really good. actually who's dead last in the tier list? mr. game and watch? i forgot >_< well w/e i was just dissapointed how they put pichu instead of raichu or somethin and how mewtwo sucked so much.

I can't stand Pichu - I remember that one event was just torture the first time I attempted it. And playing as him/her is just as annoying. That whole self-damaging thing for electric attacks really bothers me. It makes me wonder... can you get past All-Star with a No-Damage Clear with Pichu?

I love using Pichu, but only when I don't really care for winning. I usually use him just to abuse his insane head butt attack. I love how the little guy zips across the screen if you fully charge it (though I sometimes fall and succumb to my death because of it). Also, his speed makes him so fun to use.

I hate pikachu and pichu, raichu is good thought as it is actually strongWhile I don't use Pichu, I use its older sibling, Pikachu. I can't get used to another character after using Pikachu - the speed and its attacks are embedded into me.As a side note - in home run contest I actually managed to get it further with Pichu than Pikachu. Not all that bad.

Pichu indeed needs to be used properly. Although I use Fox I occasionally use Pichu when I feel like it. I prefer his down smash attack, since it does not damage him and keeps him lower down, letting him dodge some attacks. Pichu is a character that requires precise timing to optimize capability, not just piling in attacks. He is good with dodging due to his size and mobility. I do like Pichu.

pichu is my friend came over once and used him and blocked every single attack and owned and my friend got over a 100 kills with pichu

the only thing i don't like in melee are the copycat characters. characters that are a waste of space, like pichu and young link characters that are the exact same as another just a little faster. Nintendo should get rid of these worthless characters for brawl and include someone more important....so, yes i hate pichu.

I don't mind clones, but...Pichu is too similar to Pikachu, Young Link is too similar to Link.That's the problem. If Nintendo is going to add clones into Brawl, they should be done well like Falco and Ganondorf. That being said, I don't hate Pichu. Although, I don't know why anyone would ever pick Pichu over Pikachu.

Actually, with the exception of Pichu and Young Link, all of the clones are slower than the original. Falco is slower than Fox, Roy is slower than Marth, Ganondorf is slower than Falcon. Tier-wise, they're inferior to their originals, but that doesn't mean they're crappy characters (aside from Roy). Falco is arguably the best offensive character in the game, with his SHL and combo ability. Ganondorf is a solid powerhouse-type character and has an excellent recovery.I wouldn't mind seeing Ganondorf with the movelist Nintendo intended to give him, though. im a pichu pro. hes sooooo good because he dodges attacks so fast. also people who hate him just becuase he hurts himself well think about this... he only gets about 3% damage for everymove. if u go out of bounds by being smacked youll just get the exact same damage and even more...... just think about that

But here's the thing about that, searchman_5, those small amounts of damage will build up. Therefore, it's in your best interest to stick to attacks that don't hurt yourself. That essentially limits the attacks you'll use and make you much more predictable. You can use the attacks that cause damage to yourself, but if you whiff, you'll take that little bit of damage and more from the counter attack. It doesn't help that he's a light character either, meaning he'll get sent flying easily.

I don't play Pichu, but my little brother is only good as him. It gets a little old to be beaten by a tiny electric rat lol!
