mesh tool/suggestions

i've searched (through the forums) and i haven't found anything on adobe illustrator's mesh tool. if someone has any experience with it, could they teach me? if not you could give some suggestions for a sig? i will try to make it on photoshop, just to hone my skills as they are not very good =D

Yeah first start getting into Adobe photoshop, and once you get good enough try learning the pen tool. Once you feel you have a good feel on that try using adobe illustrator. The mesh tool I use for making a highlite or if need be a shadow. I am not very good with Illustrator myself but I hope it helps.
