i think if a game has good graphics it will be good that theory hasn't failed me yet

the only thing for a good game is the story but it has to hav some graphics to tell wat u r or wat will be hitting u. i got bored with som gba games so i turned to chrono triger

I Completly agree with you......Thats all i have to sayi feel its kinda sad. nowadays, game producer only concer themselves with graphic in gaming. in the nintendo/sega days, the graphic was limited, but the gameplay and story was excellent. nowadays, they can practically draw and make polygon to be exacly alive, but the story/gameplay is soo bad that i always lost intrest halfway through the game.... even my younger bro already has a waning intrest in current games (ps2/xbox/ect) and for me, i turn to translation, or replay old classic games. what about you?

Mostly producers/designers care a little to much about graphics, because it's rather exciting what can be done today, but I do agree that story and gameplay are left in the dust for the most part, the best example of a game that doesn't do such is Shadow of the Colosuss, most people hated it, but the graphics were amazing, as was the gameplay, the story was a bit lacking, but nobody is perfect. Save Phantasy Star IV!

Yeah, I hate that.The rafics are just a part of the game, but the story and the play mode are the most important for me, also the music, but they only put they efort in grafics

I actually like some 2d games better than alot of 3d games, Graphics dont make the game but they can count, if u put up an awesome 2d game w/ an awesome 3d game, u cant count graphics when seeing what is better, gameplay > graphics

FF3 has crap graphics compared to the games now and its still awsome. Graphics are a small part of a good game.

true, but like most games graphics are added and most people wouldnt waste time playing games with graphics that are on the same level as pacman, but i still say gameplay is more important then graphics
