Good graphics help make good games but unless the game has good gameplay, a good storyline, and good control, the graphics mean nothing.

I don't agree.Good Gameplay=Good Game. No matter what the graphics are.Graphics only agrement the gameplay to make it a better game.

Good graphics modify the value of a game. Having sub-par graphics is perfectly fine as long as the game compensates for it in another area.

yup yup, you need good graphics or a brilliant gameplay. graphics tend to make you focus less on how sht the gameplay really is.

i don' t think that how good a game can be didided by its grapics as a very awesome game like pokemon crystal may have bad graphics. the game sholud be good not the graphics.

a game isnt made by its graphics no. old games like team fortress and quake etc dont have the greatest graphics but they are still awesome

This topic is almost a hidden Sony/xbox Vs. Nintendo LolAnyway....A game is made up of : 1.The gamming mechanics2.Plotand the immersing factor wich is a result of the atmosphere created and the restGraphics are obviously important in a game but if you have only that it doesnt make a good game cause its missing 2/3 of the game :)Personally i think that if you can have the other two without having graphics (text based game

Graphics dont play a huge rold with me, as long as the games A. fun system to mess with or B. has a good storyline. Thus why im playing galerians ash, and man, is that game fugly.

Remember final fantasy VII, that had poor graphics compared to some of todays games but I'd still rather play it than half of todays games...

graphics are good but gameplay over graphics sometimes crap graphics are unbearable but the the game is on;y good if it has good gameplay, story sometimes too, like GTA SA, graphics are bad but bearable and that game is like my fav game

For me, graphics are only a part. I consider gameplay and story as most important features. As long as graphics has a minimum level of quality, I don't care having more graphical quality.
