although it is impossibleto say cuase of personal oppinion an the fact that not all games have been made yet, i still think Chrono Trigger was really good

Chrono Trigger. It was innovative for its time. It helped pave the way for FFVII to lead the U.S. to RPG nirvana. It's great story, graphics, sound, and gameplay were well ahead of its...time. (pun intended)

It's not all about the graphics, to me, gameplay is more important but thats no excuse to focus soley on gameplay like a lot of games on Wii (damn ps2 ports) My fave game ever has to be FFVII, I think it was my first rpg and I loved watching my bro play it when I was younger.Halo 3 is the best game ever made... coz the graphics are great and the Chief rules

Bionic Commando on the NES, played the crap out of that game for weeks at a time! One of the best 2D side scrolling games of all time!

The monkey island games have always been games that ive gone back to and played over and over..despite knowing how to complete it. I just think its a good story, funny script..clever puzzles etc.

I would say that Digimon world 1-3 and all the pokemon games are amazing due to the levels of playability, collectability and addiction that they carry. Those games use 
to consume me for hours on end whilst i tried to get the best digivoloutions or evoloutions.

Sonic, Maybe some RPGs, like Cronno Trigger, FFIX, but Sonic is really cool, and fast, it was the first game I ever played, and the characters rock!

really i think most of the games made by Square Enix are the best. I have played those the most out of any games. and out of the 122 games i own 74 are Square Enix games.
